Habitats Regulations Assessment addendum
Overview
Alongside the consultation on the Main Modifications to the Local Plan, the Council is also publishing an addendum to the Habitats Regulations Assessment.
The draft South Tyneside Local Plan 2023-2040 sets out the policies and allocations to meet the Borough’s development needs to 2040. The Habitats Regulations Assessment Addendum (opens in new window) considers the potential implications of each of the proposed Main Modifications and presents an assessment of any potential implications which might arise.
Representations (comments) can be made until 11:59pm on Friday 24 April 2026.
Please do not use this form to raise new site proposals or to revisit objections to parts of the submitted Plan that are not proposed for modification.
