Stanhope Primary, South Shields - Proposed School Safety scheme
Overview
South Tyneside Council are proposing to introduce a Road Safety scheme within your area. The team were made aware of issues with vehicle parking within close proximity to the junctions through out the Stanhope Primary area. It has also been raised that the condition of the road markings within the area are particularly bad, with the existing restrictions being outdated.
We propose to introduce the following parking restrictions, No Waiting and No Loading at Any Time (double yellow lines and double kerb blips) to improve forward visibility and the further refresh of all road markings shown on the below plans.
