Monkton Lane, Jarrow Traffic Calming - Formal Consultation

Overview

South Tyneside Councils Road Safety Department are consulting on a proposed crossing and traffic calming scheme in your area.

We have had a number of enquiries from residents and general road users requesting further traffic calming measures on Monkton Lane, Jarrow.

Following a traffic investigation into the enquiries it was determined that further traffic calming measures should be considered.

In light of the above information, we are proposing to install an additional set of speed cushions on Monkton Lane to support our ongoing efforts to reduce traffic collisions and improve road safety.
