Mill Dene View area, Jarrow - Proposed extension of parking restrictions

Overview

South Tyneside Council has been made aware of concerns regarding vehicles parking in close proximity to the end of the existing double yellow line restrictions. This behaviour is reported to significantly reduce visibility for drivers entering or exiting driveways and increases the risk of head-on collisions, particularly when vehicles are forced to overtake parked cars.

We propose to introduce the following parking restrictions, No Waiting (double yellow lines) to improve resident access to properties and visibility around the areas shown in the attatched plan.
