Middlefield's and Heddon Way area, South Shields - Proposed Parking Restrictions

Overview

South Tyneside Council have been made aware that vehicles have been parked up along sections of Heddon Way, South Shields this posing a road safety risk as overtaking vehicles are forced into oncoming traffic, this being further enhanced by the camber located at the end of the road, which accommodates a junction and a blind bend. These further raising road safety risk as drivers traveling in a westernly direction are at risk to head on collission due to this.

We propose to introduce the following parking restrictions, No Waiting (double yellow lines) and No Loading (Double kerb Markings) to the areas displayed in the below plan.
