King George Road, South Shields - Formal Consultation

Overview

As part of South Tyneside Council’s ongoing commitment to create a safer environment for all highway users, we propose to make an improvement on King George Road, South Shields.

The Road Safety Team would like to install a new Toucan crossing. The crossing has been proposed to improve the safety of pedestrians crossing in the area, in particular the students heading to and from the nearby schools.
